Vintage cereal box prizes, lithographed tin rings featuring cartoon characters. These rings were premiums from Post Toasties cereal in 1949.
The rings feature characters like Wimpy and Dagwood from the comic strip Blondie, and Inspector from the comic strip Alexander.
The rings were made of lithographed tin and were included as a giveaway item inside boxes of Post Toasties cereal.
Great condition, some paint rub on Inspector, looks like Wimpy and Hans were folded at one time.
